- Tickets
- The buyer pays the fees by default. You can absorb them instead.
- Contributions
- Guests give the amount they choose and you cover the fees. They can add $2 so you get the full $50.
- Receipts and payouts
- Guests get a receipt. You see each payment as it lands in your account.

Questions, answered
Is there a monthly fee for hosts?
No. Host plans are paid once per event. Yearly plans are for people who run events for clients.
Can I upgrade after guests have started paying?
Yes, at any time. From then on, new payments use your new plan.
What counts as a guest?
Everyone on your list, including plus-ones and ticket holders. Walk-ins can still check in on the day.
What happens to my photos?
Uploads stay in a private album for your plan’s live period. You can download a ZIP before the hub closes. When the live period ends, photos move to archive storage: still viewable, and a ZIP download takes a few minutes to prepare.
What happens when my live period ends?
Your hub closes and you get time to download everything. We email you before it closes, and you can extend it if you want the hub to stay open.
Can I get a refund?
Plus and Premier are fully refundable until the first guest payment or your event date, whichever comes first.
Does Huvent hold our money?
No. Payments settle straight to your account. You see every payment as it lands.
Do guests get a receipt?
Yes, by email and on the event page.
Can guests pay from another country?
Yes. Guests in Kenya can pay with M-Pesa. Guests elsewhere can pay by card.
Which currencies can I use?
This page is in US dollars. Guests can pay by card. In Kenya, guests can pay with M-Pesa.
Do guests need an app?
No. They scan a QR code or open a link. No download, no login.
