Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Huvent provides tools for planning and running events — including invitations, RSVPs, a guest hub, seating, media collection and insights. We may add, change or remove features over time. Some features are labeled beta or preview and are provided as-is without any guarantee of availability.

• Paid plans are billed in advance at the price and currency shown at checkout. Prices are available in KES, NGN, ZAR, GHS and USD depending on your region.
• Payments are processed by our provider, Paystack. By subscribing you also agree to the payment provider's terms.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled before renewal. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change on renewal, and we will give reasonable notice of changes.
• You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.

You and your guests retain ownership of the content you upload — including event details, guest lists, photos and guestbook entries. You grant Huvent a limited, worldwide license to host, store, process and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. You are responsible for your content and for having the rights and permissions needed to upload and share it.

If you use Huvent to collect information from guests, you are responsible for complying with applicable data-protection and privacy laws, for having a lawful basis to contact your guests, and for obtaining any consent required to upload guests’ personal information or photos. You must handle guest data fairly and honor guests’ requests about their information. See our Privacy Policy for how we process data.

You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe others’ rights when using the Service.
• Upload unlawful, harmful, deceptive or infringing content, or send spam.
• Attempt to access accounts, data or systems you are not authorized to use.
• Probe, disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the Service, or bypass its limits and security.
• Use the Service to build a competing product or to resell it without our permission.

The Service, including its software, design and branding, belongs to Huvent and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to use the Service except as expressly permitted here.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us, other users or third parties. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data in line with our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Huvent will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold Huvent harmless from claims, damages and expenses arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date above, and we will notify you of material changes. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
